Do I need to be an educator to have my child at Little Wonders?
No! We welcome all families looking for a nurturing place for their child. Supporting the people who teach Nashville's kids is why we exist, so educators receive priority in enrollment, but we're glad to welcome families from the wider community too.

How does enrollment priority work?
Enrollment priority goes first to educators from our partner schools, then to educators from other schools, and then to families from the wider community. We welcome everyone to apply.

What ages do you serve?
We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Availability varies by site and age group, so reach out and we'll let you know where we have openings.

Do you have a long waiting list?
Our infant waitlist stays full, but we often have openings for toddlers and preschoolers. We encourage every family to apply, especially educators, who receive priority consideration.

When will I be notified about admissions?
Admissions decisions for our July start date are sent out in early April. If you're looking for care right away, we'll process your application as soon as we receive it.

How much is tuition?
Tuition ranges from $1,075 to $1,700 per month, depending on your child's age and your educator status. Contact us to find out your family's rate.

What are your teacher-to-child ratios?
We keep classrooms small so every child gets the attention they deserve. Our ratios always meet, and most often beat, Tennessee's licensing requirements.

What curriculum do you use?
Our curriculum is developed in house by our own team. Teachers plan every week and bring their own flair, drawing from Frog Street, The Creative Curriculum, the Pyramid Model, and their own big brains! The result is a day full of play, exploration, and hands-on discovery that builds early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.

Who are your teachers?
Our educators bring years of experience and a whole lot of heart. Every staff member passes a background check, is trained in CPR and First Aid, and completes ongoing professional development throughout the year.

How will I know how my child's day went?
We use brightwheel to share daily updates, photos, meals, naps, and diaper changes, so you can check in anytime. Our teachers and site directors are also always happy to chat at drop-off and pick-up.

Are meals served and included in tuition costs?
At our Nashville Prep site, we now offer lunch and two snacks each day for toddlers and preschoolers, in partnership with Republic Schools. At our STEM Prep and Aventura sites, families send in all food and drink for their child each day.

For toddlers and preschoolers, our day includes time for morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack in the classroom. For infants, we follow each baby's individual feeding plan so they get the attentive care they need.

Does Little Wonders follow an academic calendar?
We provide year-round care, with closures for holidays and quarterly professional development days. We try to line up these PD days with district breaks, like fall and spring break, to make things easier for your family. See the [current calendar] for details.

I heard June is "off." Is that true?
June off is available only to families who are educators at our partner schools. These families may take June off to save on tuition without losing their child's spot for the next school year. All other families are enrolled year-round, including our June summer program.

Can my child move from one Little Wonders site to another?
Yes! If your family's needs change, talk with your site director and we'll work with you on a move to another Little Wonders location.
